  • Strategic selection and negotiation of partner(s) for hardware product and services, including PCs and network infrastructure
  • Determine fit-for-purpose channel and partner mix, addressing VAR and OEM
  • Roadmap for ongoing cost management through proactive deal structuring and enhanced replacement/refresh policies
  • Benchmarking and license rightsizing to frame negotiation of new deals or software renewals
  • Most commonly address Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle, and ServiceNow, as well as 100+ other software packages spanning security, collaboration, productivity, sales & marketing, ERP, HR, Supply Chain, EIM, and application development
  • Benchmarking and strategic sourcing of voice & data network and wireless services
  • Optimization of partners and services through utilization review, bandwidth rightsizing, strategic consolidation, service modernization, and billing reconciliation
  • Partner with client to support evaluation of hybrid cloud models and selection of preferred cloud / hyperscaler partner(s)
  • Negotiation of enterprise Cloud agreements and incentives
  • Cloud spend optimization through utilization review, rightsizing, and selective commitment to special products/packages
  • Design of strategic IT VMO/IT Procurement function, including supporting technology, processes, and policies
  • Skillset enhancement through hands-on training and playbooks featuring deep intelligence and insights into IT spend categories, strategic IT vendors, and IT spend management best practices
