Looking after the climate and the environment, preventing exploitation and child labor: these things should be a given, in theory, but to date not all companies have known exactly what is going on in their own supply chains. Supply chain regulations oer an opportunity to finally create clarity and binding rules. Some countries, including Germany, have already passed legislation, and now the EU is following suit.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n

The economy is currently split into two camps: those who fear additional burdens because they are worried about more bureaucracy and duties, and those who see it as an opportunity. We\u2019re on the side that\u2019s expecting positive outcomes from this law.<\/p><\/div>\n

We think that companies will particularly benefit from setting up their risk management more broadly to meet the law\u2019s requirements. Professional and strategic risk management makes it possible to be more resilient and agile when risks occur. And this in turn means companies can create more value and be more competitive.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n
