Social Initiatives and Community Engagement

As a global company with 16 offices worldwide, we operate on an international scale while remaining deeply rooted in our local communities. This connection drives us to support individuals and organizations in need of assistance.

 

Our local teams take the lead in deciding how we contribute—they understand best who requires support and which forms of assistance are most effective. This might include financial contributions, donations in kind, or hands-on efforts like planting trees, organizing clean-ups, or preparing meals for those in need. Our actions are guided by our core values: “Do what’s right” and “Care for people & planet”, ensuring that every project we undertake is meaningful and impactful.

We enjoy blending fundraising with enjoyable activities. For instance, our colleagues often trade their office attire for sportswear to participate in charity runs. Our “Mulled Wine Meets Charity” initiative has become a company-wide favorite. Originally launched as an online event during the pandemic, it has since evolved into in-person gatherings at our offices, where colleagues auction off activities for one another. The proceeds are donated to various organizations. Over the years, this event has raised a significant five-figure sum—and even reached six figures over three years!

 

Highlights of Our Initiatives

Spring Celebration for a Cause

A second time makes it a tradition—this year, our Nordic team reunited in a spirit of generosity before our spring celebrations! Under the theme “Take care of people and planet”, colleagues auctioned off unique experiences to one another. Nearly 20 auctions raised 6500 euros, which will be donated to charities in Denmark and Sweden.

Support for Ukraine

The ongoing war in Ukraine has forced millions of children, women, and elderly people to flee their homes or rely on humanitarian aid. To help those affected, our colleagues have made donations to selected organizations providing critical support.

80,000 Euros for Social Causes

Since 2020, our German-speaking offices have successfully run the “Glühwein meets Charity” campaign. Each year, employees auction off events to colleagues, raising 80,000 euros annually for social initiatives—a remarkable achievement!
